The project “Double diplomas” will be implemented in Yakutia

NKSU named after M. Kozybaeva and the Yakutsk State Agricultural Academy signed a bilateral memorandum. Double-degree students will receive diplomas from two universities.

Students and undergraduates of the Yakutsk State Agricultural Academy can study under the “Two Diplomas” program.

The delegation headed by the rector of the Yakut State Agricultural Academy Ivan Sleptsov arrived in Petropavlovsk. Ivan Ivanovich emphasized the importance of a bilateral agreement. He assured that the North Kazakhstan region is an agricultural region and that the priority is given to the training of qualified specialists.

– We are interested in the exchange of experience in the field of science. Today we signed an agreement to issue two diplomas to students. This will allow our students to receive a Kazakh diploma. I am convinced that this will give a new impetus to our development, ”he said.

The Yakut State Agricultural Academy is one of the largest universities in the north-east of Russia. It covers 5 regions of the Russian Federation. In the Republic of Sakha, 200,000 horses and the same number of deer are bred. Therefore, representatives of the delegation noted that the experimental base in the field of animal husbandry was strong. The Yakut State Agricultural Academy is ready to provide 5 educational grants for students of Kazakhstan.

Students from Northern Kazakhstan study annually for one semester. Students from Yakutsk will come to Petropavlovsk for the same period. There is also an exchange of teachers with each other.

As part of the partnership, specialists in the fields of agriculture, livestock and economics will be trained. Potential applicants will be offered directions in which they can receive two diplomas. Students will study in a bilateral program for 4 years, says Altyn Shayakhmetova, Dean of the Agrotechnological Department of NKSU.

Victoria Andreeva came from Yakutia to Petropavlovsk for six months. She noted that the program he was studying had great potential.

– I study in the forest department. The climate is very similar to Yakutia. Therefore, we are not afraid of the cold. We have been reading for 6 months. We are going through an experiment. I’m sure it will be a breakthrough period for me, ”she says.

Currently, two students from Northern Kazakhstan receive free education in Yakutia. They are also paid a scholarship in the amount of 5,000 rubles per month. Graduates of the program will receive diplomas from two state educational institutions of Kazakhstan and Russia after graduation.
